The success of the Show is the warmth and the interplay of the cast. Each is a professional in his or her own field but getting the mix right is all important. One moment they are Centre Stage Front and in the next they are in the background backing another cast member.

The fact that they like one another and get on well together shines through in every performance. The interaction gives the show pace, professionalism and warmth

MICHAEL FUNGE from GOREY, CO. WEXFORD

Michael is now living in Sanford, Florida having moved to the sun some 8 years ago. A talented musician and singer he is our musical director and all round music powerhouse.

Back in the 70's he hosted many of the big Irish Shows staged at the Royal Albert Hall in London and when this period passed he toured the world both as a solo artist or with a group and he has played in most of the big concert halls on the globe. From Sydney Opera House to Carnegie Hall and back to the Royal Albert Hall he has entralled audiences with his music and his comedy. Log on to : www.irishsinger.org

MICHAEL FUNGE OF THE IRISH VARIETY SHOW

CAROLINE KELLY born of Irish Parents and now lives in South London

CAROLINE KELLY

Caroline is 20 years old. Like many other Irish people her parents were forced to immigrate to the UK and they now live

near Croydon just south of London.

Caroline was trained in one of the most competative genre of dance in the world and over the years she has been winner of many competitions and titles as she progressed through the ranks.She was English Champion, Great Britain Champion and is a potential World Champion. She competed in "The Worlds" under 21 Ladies competition in Glasgow in April 07 and did very well. The big one comes next year when she takes on the best from all over the globe in the Senior Ladies.

She is in the process of starting her own Dance Academy and is learning the trade by passing on her skills, teaching young kids the rudiments of dance 3/4 nights a week.

Bernard now lives near Kew Gardens in London.

He is a man of many talents. He can hold a song and sell it to audiences worldwide. He is a first rate musician and one of the features of the Show is his ability to create unique harmonies with Michael.

Foremost however he is a talented Harmonicist. Having been influenced by Larry Adler, he went out and bought one and then another and now he has a suitcase full of them in every key and size and colour

He is considered to be one of the best players in the UK
